Cookie policy
What this site stores on your device, what it loads from third parties, and how to change your mind.
The short version
kobywilson.com uses no analytics, no advertising and no social media trackers. It sets one first-party cookie, only to remember the choice you make in the cookie banner.
Cookies this site sets
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| kw_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected external fonts, so the banner does not ask again on every page | 12 months | Strictly necessary, first party |
Third-party content
If you click "Accept all", the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google does not set cookies for this, but your browser sends your IP address to Google so it can deliver the fonts. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you reject, nothing is requested from Google and the site uses the fonts already installed on your device. Everything else works the same.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time with the button above or the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete the kw_consent cookie in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again.
Legal basis
The kw_consent cookie is strictly necessary under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and needs no consent. Loading Google Fonts relies on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. More about how your data is handled is in the privacy policy.
